Photographic Happenings:

Most Photographed Landscapes on Earth

Recently, researchers at Cornell University went through 35 million photos on Flickr and ranked the 25 most photographed places on Earth. This may come as a surprise to you but we’re kind of obsessed with landscape photography. The list specified landmarks within each city but we think there are some gorgeous landmarks that weren't included. So, we picked our three favorite cities (and our own favorite landmarks) that look great on our special wood-mounted triptychs. These cities are unique and beautiful, which is why we know they'll look stunning on your walls. Here are three of the most photographed places in the world:

San Francisco: San Francisco's Union Square was listed as the 3rd most photographed landmark in the world. But it isn't called "The City by the Bay" for nothing, right? The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most striking architectural structures and it is set against such a beautiful horizon.

Venice: Venice's famed Piazza San Marco came in at 21. Although the square is pretty incredible we've been to Venice and trust us, nothing is more beautiful than the city's famed canals, especially at night, as available at Elementem.

New York: No surprise here: NYC was ranked the number 1 most photographed place on earth. Elementem is based in New York and run by Native New Yorkers so we're pretty much experts when it comes to the Big Apple. The Empire State Building is the most photographed landmark, according to the list, and this time we have to agree with the millions of people who made it their favorite.
